F.A.Q.
1. What are domiciliary care services?
Domiciliary care is the range of services put in place to support an individual in their own home. Provided to those that require additional support with day to day household tasks, personal care or any other activity that allows them to maintain their quality of life and independent living.
2. Can I get funding for home care?
You might be eligible for the local council to pay towards the cost of your care if you have less than £23,250 in savings. Exactly how much your council will pay depends on what care you need and how much you can afford to pay. The first step is for your council to do an assessment to check how much help you need. This is called a needs assessment. The needs assessment is free, and anyone can ask for one.
3. What are the costs?
Home care packages can vary according to need and specified requirements. We can provide a free no obligations assessment to provide a quote for a tailor-made care plan that meets your requirements.
4. When should you consider home care?
Daily living if someone is struggling with personal care or daily tasks, such as washing, going to the toilet, getting out of bed, cooking or eating meals, or keeping the home clean and comfortable.
5. Can I contact you outside office hours in an emergency?
Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. We run a 24-hour emergency call service for all our existing service users.
6. Do you also provide care at the weekend and on Bank Holidays?
Yes, we provide care 365 days a year.
