Our Services

Our Story

Suffolk-Care-AwardsWe are an award-winning domiciliary family care company with many years of experience providing people with care and support in their home environments.

We are based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, supporting clients in many of the surrounding areas.

Our friendly, well-trained staff provide a high standard of quality family care and support safely to adults in the community. We build our relationships between you using trust and communication. We started the company with these ethics, and that will never change.

All the people that we support are unique and require specially tailored care. We look after people with a wide range of different needs. Some of our clients have physical disabilities or learning disabilities, providing our golden oldie clients with continued care and support to help them maintain their ongoing independence within their own homes. We have vast experience dealing with people with all kinds of health issues and disabilities. For example, Dementia, Diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurons, Frail and Elderly, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, End of Life Stroke and many more.

What We Do

Our main aim is to promote inclusion for all our clients with our ongoing support and assistance to lead a meaningful life by assisting them to become and remain as independent as possible. We also assist our clients with all their general day to day activities when running their own homes, including cleaning, shopping, claiming benefits and paying their utility bills.

Each of our support workers has been fully trained to provide personal care in a way that is discreet and respectful of personal boundaries. Personal care is a broad term used to refer to support individuals with their personal hygiene and dressing and helping to maintain their appearance.

What our care clients say

"Since meeting PnS staff 6 weeks ago, they have all been amazing to me. They all go above and beyond for others; their kindness shines through in everything they do. The staff made me feel safe, happy and the help has enabled me to work on myself and get me back on my feet. None of the staff ever judged me, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Pns staff reflect Kelly, hardworking, no job to small or big, always respectful and always ensuring I had everything I needed in any capacity. I do know PnS staff are quite honestly ladies will never forget and hope to see again, if I ever need support again."

S.Staines

"My wife was diagnosed with vascular dementia in March this year. She has previously always been outgoing and loved to socialise with people. Her memory loss and the restrictions caused by the Covid pandemic meant that she became withdrawn and at times very depressed.
We found out about  PnS family care service and the new day centre they had set up for people such as my wife. They have a meeting every week on a Monday for 5 hours from 9.30am to 2.30.pm

Right from her first day there was a noticeable difference in her outlook and state of mind.
The staff are so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them.
My wife eagerly looks forward to the meetings every week and talks about them for days afterwards.

It has brought her out of herself and given her a reason and purpose for going out again.
She enjoys the meeting more each week and is now happy and settled there meeting with her friends.

It has made a tremendous difference to me as well. I can leave her for a few hours knowing she is happy and will be well looked after. I get a bit of “me”  time each week to do what I want or simply to recharge my batteries. It really helps us both through the week."
